It’s called deus ex machina God from the machine ; when a book or play runs up against an insurmountable wall, suddenly a previously non-existent character pops into the story to bring resolution.
Turns out though, he is a lot more clueless than we thought. If Graylee Perez thought sharing a body with her twin sister was bad, dealing with a duplicate of herself is two times worse.
Oh, and to top it all off the council believes they have an idea of who broke into their houses almost a year ago and stole the amulets that kept Adrian’s powers blocked. She is a third-generation Alaskan now living in the Pacific Northwest with her Westie, Cosmo, and her French husband, who she wouldn’t trade in for anyone–not even Spike or Mr.
I feel like the second novel was a redemption novel and I’m afraid the third will ruin that. What happened to Charlene? How odd, to be the same person, yet have two separate experiences and distinctly separate nkkki.

It was hot, hotHOT! Entangledreview linked here where formatting allowed Book 2: I can keep going all day about how fast this has become one of my favorite series It doesn’t lowered the standardit even increased. I started to worry half way through this when I really started to dislike Lee. This cannot be a good sign. When you get to Adrian’s Magic shop and Gray there on Valentine’s Day-she mentions the forlorn feeling of downtown Kent, of so many vacant or for sale signs, which is really the feel of that area.

Duplicity (Spellbound , book 2) by Nikki Jefford
It took me a while to grasp what was going on. The “contact” who Mrs. I loved the growth that the characters demonstrated since Entangled and throughout Duplicity. I also like Adrian.
I found it perplexing and in my rebel heart awesome that there was so much school skipping in Duplicity. When Graylee Perez comes back as a duplicate of herself in the body of Charlene, things get a little weirder than they were.

I’m so glad I found Jefford. Adrian isn’t the goodliest of people, to say the least but there is something so lonely about him that I just totally fell for him. She really put some characters through the gauntlet in this one and I’m so very excited to see that book three holds even more of my favorite character, Adrian.
It could be at times getting the 2 girls mixed up but referring to the purged Greylee as Stacey or Lee and the new Charlene Greylee as Grey does help keep the story straight. This plot was fresh and intriguing and made me annoyed when I felt upset by what was happening. Then Charlene’s body walks back into the picture, also with Graylee’s soul.
All in all, Duplicity was another fun ride and I can’t wait to dig into Enchantment for more!

But one thing for sure, you will be blown away again. Now closing in on the anniversary of Dpulicity death, things are about to get even more interesting. Give the guy a break.
While I felt that the premise was a bit weaker than its predecessor, the story within Duplicity was entertaining and kept me jecford more, more, more! Two people who, at the beginning of the book, don’t seem to be very fond of each other.
How completely weird and gross is that! But wait, there’s more! Alright, the covers to this entire series is nothing short of beautiful. I do not like Shay. For her, it’s only been days after her death. But the dialogues between Raj and Graylee gave butterflies to my stomach.
I don’t think he violated her I can’t even express how much I love this series.
